In 2023 we decided to launch a Newlands Business of the Month community recognition programme aimed at supporting our local businesses.
As the three of us are all Newlands residents and specialise in Newlands real estate, we are always hearing from the community what businesses are deserving of special recognition in terms of the impact they make to our community and the quality of life in our area.
We use this information and feedback we receive to choose our monthly recipient.
We are very happy to hear from all residents about what their favourite Newlands based business is and those names that get frequently mentioned is what guides us as to who we choose. At the end of the year we ask Newlands residents by way of our social media to vote on the Business of the Year from the 12 monthly finalists. In 2024 the winner was the Blue Cross Veterinary practice.
